Amarillo Slim

Amarillo Slim's real name is Thomas Austin Preston and he was born 31 December 1928. He is one of the older playerts youwill see in the poker tournaments but he is recognisable, especialyl with his trademark cowboy hat that he wears!

Amarillo Slim currently has 4 WSOP bracelets that were won, winning the WSOP Championship event in 1972.

In May 2003 Amarillo Slim publiched a book, titled "Amarillo Slim in a world of fat people" where he talks about people he has played poker against.

In 1992 Slim was added to the Poker Hall of Fame.
