Deuces Wild Video Poker, game rules and how to play

Deuces Wild poker is one of the most popular forms of video poker that is available to play online. It is relatively simple to get yourself going with Deuces Wild at many of the online casinos!

The aim of Deuces wild like any other poker game is to get the best hand you can with the cards that you are dealt, the main difference with Deuces Wild is that any Deuce or Two (2) are wild cards and can be any card and or suit in the deck so you can make better hands!

How to play Deuces Wild

Select the value of what your coins are going to be worth that you play with (usually 25c, $1, $5 or the same in £'s or euros)
Add your money to the machine, similar to a slot machine.
Select how many coins you want to bet (1 to 5), either click "Bet one" to go up in increments of 1 or click "Bet Max" which will add 5 coins to bet with.
Click Deal to be dealt your first 5 cards
Click which cards you want to "Hold" and leave the ones you want to discard (check that this function is not done the opposite way around, i.e. you click which cards you want to discard)
Click "Draw" and those cards you don't want to Hold will be replaced to leave you with your final set of cards. Your best hand will then be shown and any winnings will be paid to you
Click "Deal" to start a new game
Click "Coins Out" when you are stopping playing and want to exchange your coins for casino chips/money

The poker hands in Deuces Wild vary slightly from standard poker hands and you can view the rankings below! Unlike other poker games, the lowest payout with Deuces Wild is 3 of a Kind

Royal Flush											A, K, Q, J, 10 all the same suit
Four Deuces											4 Deuces (2's) plus one other card
Deuces Royal Flush											Same as a Royal Flush but at least one of the cards a wild card. e.g. 10, wild, Q, K, A
Five of a Kind											5 same cards in different suits. e.g. 3, 3, 3, 3, wild
Straight Flush											5 cards of the same suit in order. E.g. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Four of a Kind											4 same cards in different suits. E.g. 3, 3, 3, 3
Full House											3 of a kind plus 1 pair. E.g. 6, 6, 6, K, K
Flush											5 cards in the same suit but not in any order. E.g. 2, 4, 5, 8, K (all hearts)
Straight											5 cards in order but not of the same suit
Three of a Kind											3 same cards in different suits. E.g. Q, Q, Q

The payout for Deuces Wild all depends on how much you wager, you have the option of betting 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 coins on each go (the coin value can vary from machine to machine depending on how much you want each coin to be worth).
