Don't drink alcohol, poker strategy

One of the worst things to take while playing poker (especially if it's a serious game and not just mates) is alcohol! Booze/drink/alcohol affects your judgment and can severely affect your game and how you play. You may become more brave and call and raise hands that you usually would fold!

Poker may have the traditional image of a beer and cigar, while this can still be the case in a friendly poker game with mates it really isn't advisable when going in to a casino or joining a no-limit or higher stake game!
