What is Tilt? Going on "Tilt" in poker is something that all poker players "suffer" with at some point or another and it can vary in severity. Now you don't need to get scared as it isn't some illness that can physically harm you but is more to do with state of mind and not playing poker as well as you usually do. Identifiers of going on Tilt are betting on cards that you usually would fold or not betting or raising on cards that you really should be doing.

Why do players go on Tilt? There are different reasons why players can find themselves going on tilt, such as bad beats annoying or making you angry, not getting any decent hand that you want to play for ages or winning anything on the hands that you think are worth going with, going on tilt can even happen by having too much confidence because you are having some good luck with the cards!

What to do if you go on Tilt! Probably the best solution if you find yourself going on tilt is to stop playing and to take a break from the table. Recompose yourself and clear your head before you start playing again!
