Limit Poker games

Limit poker games are what most players start off playing when they start poker. Limit games are good in that you can join a game and know that you aren't goign to have to call someone $20 if the blinds are just 50c/$1, it is likely just going to cost you $2 each round of betting if everyone bets and doesn't raise.

With Limit poker games you are more likely to get more players staying in the pot untill the end as it can be relatively cheap to call to see another card. This can also lead to more bad beats although if you continuously have bad players staying in with weak hands they are likely to still lose their money but just more gradually than if they were in a No Limit game.

A bad Limit player who stays in with bad cards that should really be folded or maybe stays in with mediocre cards will probably make lots of small mistakes and lose their money eventually.
