Multiplayer poker is really easy to take part in, obviously you need more than 1 player to play poker (unless you are playing Video Poker where you just play against the machine), so you can play heads up poker (1 on 1) or with more players. Multiplayer poker games online usually have upto 6 or 10 players per table depending on which table you want to join.

If however you are having a poker night and invite friends round you can play with any number that you want to join in (obviously you want to make sure you have an idea on numbers so not to invite too many)

There are many online casinos and poker rooms, such as Party Poker and Paradise Poker that have lots of multiplayer poker tables to join in and play, all with different limits and values and different games such as Texas Holdem, Omaha etc. Also, they host many daily multiplayer tournaments too so you are never going to be at a loss for someone to play poker against!

Getting a multiplayer poker game set up is easy, either call friends round to your place, get a pack of cards and chips and away you go, log on and join deposit at one of the online poker rooms and sit at one of the many different limit online multiplayer poker tables or head down to your local casino and play against others who are wanting a game of poker!
