Many
new poker players start out by playing poker
online, it is a great starting place that lets you sit at your computer
and play and get used to the game. You don't have to worry about keeping
a poker face (read about our online poker tells),
you can play as many or as few hands as you want, you don't have to play
with much and can join in low-limit or no-limit games. You can have the
freedom to look at charts if you are unsure on which order the poker
hands are ranked. Online is also great for reading up poker
strategy and poker tips.
Playing offlineisn't the same as online and even very good onlin epoker
players can struggle when playing face to face against other poker players
around a table as they are not used to being watched and now have to worry
about not giving anything away in the form of poker tells.
Saying that,
many online poker players still manage to convert well and play offline,
with many taking part in the big poker tournaments, such as the World
Series of Poker
