Free Poker Chip

When playing online poker there are a few things you can do to help not give too much away about what your hand is like. Obviously being behind a computer screen makes it easier in that you don't have to keep a straight face or worry about people noting a physical change in you that could give things away about what your hand is like but there are other things that people can look at that can give them a clue.

Online poker rooms and casinos in many cases have the option to use check boxes so you can make your next move quickly, almost instantaneously. This can work against you though, if you "Check" then it can indicate that you have a weak hand, if you "Call" then it can indicate that you have a semi-decent hand that hopefully will be able to improve, and if you "Raise Any" then it is going to show that you have a good hand. Imagine that you don;t use these check boxes that often and then on the game where you have a really good hand start to use it then you are showing to be playing differently and are very confident with your hand.

Also, even when not using the check boxes you should be careful how you play, if you play your go quickly it can show a weak hand, if however you take a bit longer and then play it can indicate that you could have a good hand and are thinking about what strategy to use! What you should do to avoid anyone getting an idea of how you play is to try and take the same length of time on every go you have, this way no one will be able to guess if you have a good or a bad hand.
