Poker hand odds are very important to know when playing poker, they give you an idea of what chance you are likely to make a hand are so helping you work out if it is worth playing on or not.

Poker hand odds are calcualted based on the number of "outs" you have to make a hand. An "out" is the number of cards that are available to complete your hand. For example, if you have a pair of 9's and you want 3 of a kind then there are only two more 9's available os your number of outs would be 2 (not very many).
