They all compete until one player is named the World Champion of Poker and is awarded a rich cash prize. The tournament is so popular that is televised on ESPN for everyone to watch from their home. Whether you are a rookie card player or someone who plays for a living, it is key to understand the rules of each game of poker that you play. Every tournament has different entry fees, limits, and regulations when it comes to cheating.
