Poker Seat position, poker strategy

Your position at the poker table during Texas Holdem is very important and can help with your game and strategy and potential winnings. During the game the Dealer button gets passed around the table each hand clockwise with the 2 players to the left of the dealer paying the Small Blind and Big Blind.
After this the rest of the players have the choice to either call, raise or fold so don't need to un-necessarily bet if they don't want to, this is great as you don' tthen have to play with a weak hand. However, the best position to be in is towards the end of the round of betting, so the dealer and player to their right get to see most of the betting before it comes to them so they can see if most players have stayed in or folded and can judge if this might make their hand slightly better if there is less competition!

One general strategy with this is that in later position syou can play more agresively and a bit more loose and have to play tight when you are in an early position as you don't have the extra information that other later players will have gathered during the firts round of betting!
